Monique co-chairs PwC's Multicultural Business Network and drives positive cultural change through proactively advocating for diversity, inclusion and wellbeing. As part of her mission to educate, empower and inspire, Monique built a team of 6 and spearheaded the creation of New Gen Accountants, a social enterprise which provides support and career development advice to more than 300 millennials.

An experienced sales and customer service leader, I have gained a wealth of experience across various sectors including retail, education, media and charities. My most recent roles have been focused on leading, training and improving teams and work on strategy, logistics and planning, managing stakeholder relationships across departments. I have been heavily involved in many charity initiatives, most recently co-chairing a mental health network, overseeing budgets, annual plans and senior buy-in.

Initially joining the firm as part of the Recruitment team, she worked to change the interview process which now ensures that there is a diverse interview panel during every candidates interview. Shenara then stepped away from the world of recruitment and is now responsible for managing the Wellness strategies and supporting the wider I&D initiatives within the firm. She has recently launched Inclusion Allies and a Reverse Mentoring Programme nationally.

Apart from her passion for Inclusion and Diversity, she is an avid Kizomba dancing, adrenaline seeking, family orientated sports enthusiast.

I’m Michael and I’m the Digital Learning Manager at Vanquis.  I’ve worked in learning and development for 13 years now and have worked in a variety of roles across L&D in that time. I crafted my L&D skills as a technical trainer working predominantly in a contact centre setting, then moved into managing a large team of L&D specialist based across the UK, as well as specialising in coaching, personal and leadership development.  My passion for learning and, in particular, learning design led me to a specialism digital learning meaning a focus on building skills through online learning, improving boring compliance learning into something interst8ng and memorable and developing our LMS to enhance user experience and make learning accessible for all.

Andrea Mattis is the Global Internal Communications Manager for Collinson where she leads on strategic employee engagement for 2000+ employees. She also leads on Diversity & Inclusion and Employee Wellbeing by advising on communications and strategy.

Andrea is passionate about employee wellbeing, diversity, inclusion & belonging, employee engagement and experience and corporate social responsibility. Her 10 year communications career spans across a number of organisations including AB InBev, Ruder Finn, Genesis Housing Association, Network Rail and the London 2012 Olympic and Paralympic Games.

Andrea’s key moments include meeting Prince Harry and delivering communications as part of the press team for the biggest sporting event in the world - the Olympics and Paralympic Games.

In 2018 she was nominated for a WeAreTheCity Award for her service to Marketing and Communications and has a Masters in Political Campaigning and Reporting from City University London.

She is a Confidence Coach and ran The Confidence Club, a platform dedicated to support women to improve their career confidence through events and coaching.

Having served as Edelman’s Chief Human Resources Officer for almost three years, Nigel has returned to his passion – helping clients on topics ranging from employee experience and engagement to employer branding, change management and internal communication.

Prior to joining Edelman, Nigel led HR and employee engagement functions, as well as a wide range of change initiatives at Coca Cola Enterprises (CCE), based in London, and Anheuser-Busch InBev, based in Leuven, Belgium. He moved with his family to Europe in 2004, having been Public Affairs Director with Labatt Breweries of Canada, prior to which he worked for almost 10 years at international communications consulting firms Hill and Knowlton and Weber Shandwick Worldwide. On both the client and agency side, Nigel’s priorities have always come to back themes around change management, organization design, internal and corporate communication and employee engagement.

Nigel is an international relations graduate from the University of Toronto.

Aggie Mutuma is an experienced and passionate HR Leader, coach, mentor and Inclusion champion with a keen passion to support organisations to build cultures where everyone can thrive.

Aggie is currently the Group People Director of Argent Foods group, a leading group operating in the food industry. She is a senior HR professional with significant experience in leading HR teams across large organisations and SME’s. Aggie has a keen passion for working with business leaders to engage and motivate their people by providing rewarding and productive working lives which result in business success. 

She has successfully lead People teams in strategic HR delivery across various industries including multi-site retail, corporate head office, restaurant operations, sales and manufacturing. In her varied HR leadership roles; Aggie’s focus has been coaching and partnering with leadership teams to achieve business goals through strategic HR practices spanning the entire employee life cycle. She has delivered effective programs for numerous companies including Tesco, McDonalds Restaurants, Dreams Beds and Mothercare where her areas of success include diversity and inclusion, succession management, employee engagement, performance management and policy development. Business re-organisation, culture programs and employee relations have featured strongly in her career.

Aggie is passionate about taking her experience of best practice and right sizing her approach to add value in varied contexts. She is described as engaging, strategic, commercially astute and as an inspirational coach. This has lead to her being invited to speak at HR leadership events and at the Institute of Directors.

A Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Personal and Development, Aggie is also a certified NLP Master Coach, a practitioner of Prince2 and holds a Master’s degree in Human Resources Management.

Céline Crawford is Chief Communications Officer at leading betting exchange Smarkets, one of London's fastest growing financial technology companies. Over the last two years, Céline has been a champion for Diversity as well as Mental Health in the workplace and has helped pioneer forward thinking initiatives such as transparent salaries, employee counselling and the important value of bringing your whole self to work. On the side she runs a podcast '15 minutes of Femme' aimed at shedding light on important yet overlooked issues such as imposter syndrome and turning pain into power. Before joining Smarkets in 2015,  Céline spent over a decade in the banking industry starting in Fixed income at Dresdner Kleinwort, followed by Equities and Investor Relations at Edison and finnCap where she advised publicly listed growth companies on their corporate communication strategy. When working at finnCap Céline also ran the Angel network and became passionate about helping startup technology companies achieve the next step of growth. Céline studied Business & Finance at the American University of Beirut and speaks five languages.

Luke has five years’ experience working in the corporate D&I space. After two years working on the Chambers Diversity & Inclusion programme at Chambers and Partners he moved to social mobility charity Making The Leap, an organisation that provides skills training for young people from lower socio-economic backgrounds, where he also worked on the newly-launched UK Social Mobility Awards.

In December 2019, Luke returned to Chambers and Partners as a Diversity & Inclusion Advisor, working on the company’s global D&I and pro bono external and internal strategy. In this role, he organises the content for D&I events globally and edits the online platform, as well as conducting internal D&I training and overseeing the INSPIRE Committee.

Bhavik has innovatively created a robust Mental Health programme for his company, committing to offer additional services for a workforce of 1150+, ranging from personalised support to provision of tools to help promote positive mental well-being. Bhavik has led his company to be nominated for 2 industry awards (Best New Workplace Approach to Mental Health + Best Targeted Mental Health Initiative) from 'This Can Happen'. Bhavik currently serves as the UK Mental Health Lead for Capco, a leading financial services consulting company.

Naseem Yasin is the Diversity and and Inclusion Lead for Shell UK, with expertise in inclusive leadership, unconscious bias, cultural intelligence and inclusion, gender equity and empowering diverse talent. Naseem is an experienced facilitator and presenter with over 15 years of experience working with diverse workforces and helping organisations to build D&I strategies with resources to support ongoing learning and D&I implementation across their organisation. She has previously worked with the Scottish Parliament carving out their D&I agenda in her capacity as Group Diversity and Inclusion Manager at the Co-operative Group. Naseem is also an advisor to The Institute of Equality and Diversity Practitioners in the UK and is an Advisor on The Global Inclusion Council for The Centre for Global Inclusion (USA). She is currently working with several non-profit organisations in South Asia and North Africa supporting their agenda for education and equality for all. In particular, Naseem has a specific interest in making D&I a global conversation rather than creating silos.

The last 9 years have been spent working as part of the senior leadership team at Benefex. As a frequent writer on employee engagement, experience and wellbeing, Gethin has been featured in The Guardian, The Huffington Post, Buzzfeed and The Financial Times as well as all major HR, Reward and Pensions publications. Gethin is also a regular keynote speaker and a founding member of the Engage for Success Wellbeing Thought Action Group. He is also listed on the Employee Engagement Powerlist, winner of the Lotus Award for Culture 2019 and one of the EEA’s Top 101 Global Employee Engagement Influencers.

Through her work, Anastasia is keen to decrease stigma around mental health conditions in the workplace, and beyond.

As an inspirational thought-leader, she has been interviewed on London Live, featured in The Huffington Post and delivered training for the likes of Sky and BDO.

Before her change in career, Jana worked as a producer in TV, in fashion publishing, and has performed as a stand-up comedian at the likes of Edinburgh Festival Fringe.
